5* characters?

Ate you devs not reading a word that has been said? 5* characters have a max gear level of 11. Not useful in raids. Not useful in TB. Not useful in TW. Every new team comp requires 8 zetas and the bundle doesn't set you up to even farm them. These bundles are fluff.

I mean it's not like they're gonna do GEO TB or HSTR anytime soon.

The bundle isn't intended to give a new player an end-game roster, lol. It's just to give a new player a decent base to work with. A new player right now has to farm up all the characters required for legendary and journey events from 0 shards. If they want to spend the money to give themselves a good head start on that, then that's what the bundle is there for...getting all those characters from 5 stars to 7 stars is a lot easier than getting them all from 0 to 7 stars. The node unlocks are helpful for them to get right into farming who they want as well. They also get some resources that most of us have stockpiled. It's basically a head start bundle for a new player, not an instant maxed roster.

if they give you 5 dark side ships, they can get the Executrix to 5 stars pretty quick through the capital ship challenges and then start simming the tier 3 ship ability challenge which has zetas.

the quest chain may also provide zetas- in the bundle post "These quests reward resources needed to help advance characters (such as gear and ability mats)."
