The silence is deafening

I understand that there are not regular updates to the game or regular changes, however, we're 20 days into the new year and other than a light Q & A, we've heard nothing from CG on anything game related.
A similar game that I also play, the name doesn't matter, posts messages multiple times a week with different information. Some innocuous, some good to know, but the point is, there is a regular communication cadence. I'm not sure what the challenges are in a having a regular cadence here, but in the corporate world, where CG lives, I'm required to provide weekly updates both to my team and my leadership. It shouldn't be this challenging for CG to also provide a weekly update to us.
I'd love to hear CG's thoughts on this. And I've heard them say in past Q&A's that they want to do this also. So if they want to, why aren't they?
