Saving GW and Arena tokens

Is there any reason to? I don't remember any new toons being added whose shards can be bought using these tokens. From a business perspective CG will only make money from adding new toons to cantina shipments and tokens as these can be bought using monetised crystals whereas GW / Arena cannot. I see lots of posts of people saving them though, am I missing something by spending all these asap?
