Vanishing button issue--is this just the way it's going to be?

I did a quick search, but saw no recent mentions of this. I know a ways back the devs said they had deployed a fix for "most" instances of the problem. As of last night, though, the bug was still alive and well...derailed part of HSTR for me.

Has anything been said about it recently? Or is it such a low priority that nothing else is liable to be done for it?

I would not expect more action on it for a while.
"Missing buttons" is listed as 'fixed' in their dev tracker and i haven't seen much mentioned beyond them continuing to monitor occurances.
It's very sucky because it is a debilitating bug that seems very unpredictable.
