If I’m not mistaken, Malak’s event came out last year in April, so with this coming April marking a year since its release, will we be seeing Malak join the journey guide?
I suspect he'll be in the Journey Guide within the next three months. As for all Epic Confrontation characters, the devs should make it so that once you've successfully beaten the event it becomes unlocked permanently.

Ummm they haven’t ran it since it was 10 months old, therefore it hasn’t aged past the one year mark, so no need to work it into the journey guide but now they definitely need to stay away from rerunning the event..... but that’s only a working theory.... only time will tell now !!!!
