Guaranteed hard node drops
In some gacha games, if you pull a certain minimum amount, you are guaranteed something. For example, in a game where there are 3-6* characters, if you pull 10 times at once, you are guaranteed at least one 5* character. I think it may also be related to rules about gambling in games involving minors, so the guaranteed drops prevent a class action law suit.
Maybe for hard nodes you can guarantee at least 1 character shard if you sim 5 attempts at once.
