Chewbacca - 5a Dark Side battle boss

On level 5-A (dark side) of my game, chewbacca seems to be able to keep healing on consecutive turns (no cool down) and is attacking multiple times without turn meter being full (sometime three attacks between my attacks). I'm guessing this is a mistake? Otherwise it seems particularly hard for this stage of the game.

Take him out early it is some rage mode when he gets alone.

I have no idea whether or not it is intentional. You answered your own question on the cooldown for healing. He is going so many times that he is burning through it.
