If I gain 50 MK 5 A/KT Stun Gun Purple Gear, for my character Fives to gain gear IX (it has a level 72 required for it) Will I still gain the stats once I get all components even thu the max level right now is level 70?

You will not be able to equip it yet dude, you will need to wait until you are lvl 72. You can save the mats though and when the lvl increases this week you will be able to equip it
