GAC Bug

I just lost this GAC due to a bug. I timed out against my opponent but had beated two of the three characters. After the clock reached 0, the characters just stayed there doing nothing for a whole minute. Then the app restarted itself and when I went to the GAC match, it did not save the progress but the attempt had been registered. Lost my best team and can't beat that team now. Talked to EA support (don't know why I try), and they said it's a bug. That's it. I don't get any type of compensation or answer. Just that it's a bug. Thought I'd let people know, don't let that timer run out.

Before the game restarted did you see an error message pop up forcing a restart?

Might be an issue with your phone’s RAM then

If on iOS - make sure to force quit all unnecessary apps in the background in the future before doing your GAC

That game's the only app I have on that phone. So that could not have been it. Might be the phone's RAM then, if that's even a possibility (Iphone 8 with no other apps, no photos, nothing).
