Ship Battles, what I wish will happen

Ships according to datamines will support characters. Some support stealth, crits, healing etc. Now I'm hoping they'll be like boss battles with each other. They'll be behind the characters and we'll get to attack them. Although scale is an issue I want something interesting gameplay wise. Game is getting stale TBH still love Star Wars tho.
