NS zombie, talzin, and counterattacks mechanics question.

Just curious about the following interaction

Talzin (L) with zetas.
If zombie is the only NS alive and does a basic:
1. NS ally revives and assists.
2. They don’t kill enemy toon
3. Enemy counterattacks and kills zombie
4. zombie self revives
5. NS ally “dies immediately”

Anyone know why the counterattack dmg and zombie revive plays out before the NS ally “dies immediately” (language used for Talzin zeta)?

If the NS ally were to die before the counterattack dmg, zombie would not revive so the order of operations matters.

Idk really. I noticed it during the GC however. Wonder if its a bug or wai.

We know that "immediately" never means immediately. They recently took the "immediate" out of Yoda's bonus turn because it's just a regular bonus turn. Talzin's mechanics kill the target on "round end," and counter attacks are considered as part of the same round.

Counter attack procs are a little odd in general. I remember there was some kerfuffle over deathtrooper hitting Rebels twice and applying daze on the second attack. Even though the two deathtrooper attacks animated first, the counter would still proc after the dirst one, so it looked like they were countering while dazed (but technically weren't).

IIRC there was an issue with the NS dying sooner so it had to be delayed till end of turn. It has been a while but there was some weird bug.
Counter attacks are que'ed to happen at end of move, at least that is what it seems like.
End of move is before end of turn.
