Unequal conditions on the Grand Arena

On the Grand Arena for the second time I meet an opponent who has more units in defense. Why?

    The opponent immediately has an advantage in points
    This is the second time. For the first time, the other opponent had 3 squads in the second line defense. I only have 2. ???

    When you enter a zone to set teams, there is a ?/3 display in bottom right zone, would be my guess.

    And you only put 2 teams in there.

    That is, the number of circles does not correspond to the number of squads?

    Definitely doesn’t correspond- that’s my defence for current round.
