"already in battle" in the arena

Anybody else see a problem with having no notification that you're "already in battle" in the arena? Spent 50 crystals to get in one last battle in the arena before the payout, only to find out i couldn't do anything. ..wasted crystals...which are pretty valuable. If we can't battle while engaged then it seems reasonable that we have a way of knowing before spending crystals, to make informed decisions

I had that happen to me once about 2 months ago and haven't tried again since.
