Then he beat me and tilted by using 50 crystals to move to next person

They end up out of top 10 by end of day anyways, lol I don't understand why bother spending the 50.

I avoid situations like this. It's really counterproductive, you two could have been 1st and 2nd. If I beat someone and they get me back I attack someone else untill I reach the top 5. Then everyting is allowed. You spend the 50 crystals, because the rewards really scale in the top 5. You gain more than you spend.

Not really if they hit refresh like crazy, there is a small gap (maybe 10-20 seconds) where you are getting out of battle and they can already engage you. There is a rumour you can bypass this by using one account on two devices.
