Devs ever talked about being able to fight against your own friends?

I'm curious if being able to fight against your own friends has ever been talked about whether it be both players actively playing against each other or playing against their AI, is this something people care about?

Unlike most I don't play to be the best there ever was, I just play because it is a lot of fun and playing against my friends would be decent fun I think.

I don't think the devs have mentioned this idea but I know there are plenty of others on the forum that have been clamoring for live PvP.

Live PVP would be great, but I'm not sure we'll see it anytime soon.

I think fighting your allies will be more akin to issuing challenges and fighting their arena team on demand

This is a long overdue idea. We should be able to fight against friends list people. Live PVP if both people are on or against bot for fun (without costing energy).
