Chief Chirpa Bonus Attacks???

I was playing around with my 4* Chief Chirpa in the cantina and I noticed that I was getting a bunch of Phasma like bonus assists from other allies. How is this happening? It's totally random and triggers from any of the attacking toons....meaning not just Chirpa. What did I miss here. These are just basic attacks.

EDIT: Nevermind. Duh it's a Cantina battle and I used an ally Phasma to support. I forgot about the second leader ability taking effect. I'm out of Sim Tickets so I'm battling in the cantina manually. DOH!
