I had Koth instead of Mace, but everything else was the same. Is Barriss's Leadership skill maxed? That helps a great deal.
I beat it on a Lumi/Mace escort and focused Yoda down. On Yoda's first two turns, if Yoda ended his turns with Foresight up, I just retreated out. Jedi Consular was the first heal I used.
In the run I won on, Yoda targeted Barriss a lot, which worked out great for me since she had like 17K HP. Also, I didn't start healing until the second time through my party, which helped save heals for late in the game.
#139...Yoda kills Mace first round before I even go. His GQJ summons Yoda and together they kill JC all before I go. Game over.
#140...Yoda spent every attack on Barriss. Kills her in two rounds with 4 attacks, all crits. Well, plus a hit from GQJ and an extra assist of Yoda. Fast downhill from there.
No break. Either I win or quit the game. I invested too much time and money, and nowhere did they ever say you had to have a set of specific Jedi to win Yoda. Just a Jedi team. Folks say it is possible with this team. I don't see it and guess we will find out in 40 more matches.
Either that or those who have won with this team have a different strat...or paid the devs. When Yoda can do six attacks, then I get two or ten and they all miss and then he gets six attacks, it is a broken or unbalanced event.
I've heard that a good strategy for 7* Yoda is to keep restarting until you get Barriss and JKG as Yoda's allies. Then you use the Barriss equalization trick to get Yoda's health down and you don't have to worry about being killed by Yoda's allies because Barriss and JKG do so little damage.
Has anyone tried using Lumi's Force Blast on Barriss (when she doesn't have tenacity up) to ability block her and stop her heal? I'm not sure if this would work or if Yoda's leader ability increases her tenacity too much.
I started out trying with Lumi as lead (my first 50+ attempts). Evasion made no difference at all with Yoda and the healing didn't come close to making up for the lesser hit points of what Barriss gives in total when looking at number of rounds.
Try #141...Mace dead in first round again. Barriss was taken out in 3 hits (all crits) from Yoda on second round plus a hit from Anakin.

Are you all sure this is the way to do it? Always has to be Barriss? Can't kill him another way? I'd even pay someone to log into account and do it.
If Bariss isn't in his lineup retreat and start over. Focus on the spares and don't use any specials until after Bariss has gone for the first time, then burn both of them down to red, let Bariss heal, then focus on yoda.
And get used to having him 1 red bar from death and going 3, 4, 6 times and wiping your entire group. Happened to me at least 25 times. One time you'll get lucky, once he's green paste then kill the spares.
And don't expect miracles once you get him. The version you get is not the version you fight.
Yeah I've only been doing Barriss versions - was asking if there was another way because it appears impossible to me.
I can't get to Barriss without healing. I can't even get the first escort without healing and usually losing one (either Mace or GQJ). No idea how your strat is working to get escort down, Barriss down far enough so she heals once, and then you start your heals. You must be level 80 or something.
Try #143...tried something different and killed Barriss first. That didn't last long. Yoda and the escort beat my team to half health and then in one turn Yoda did five attacks and killed each person. Just picked them all off in one friggin turn.
I finally beat it last night with Ahsoka (L), Lumi, Mace, EK, and JC. It took me over 3 hours, I don't know how many tries. On my third or fourth try, I got Yoda to red and then wiped. An hour or so later, I killed Yoda and then got killed by his two goons (Plo and IGD). About an hour after that, I had Yoda and Barris down to a sliver of red life left. I had Ahsoka and Lumi left. Yoda attacked 3 times in a row. I didn't dodge. I threw my phone against the wall.
After cleaning up the lamp I knocked over with my phone on it's way to the wall, I tried again for a few dozen more tries. I finally got JKG and Old Ben as Yoda's goons and I killed Yoda. I actually had all of my toons left and I started whittling away on JKG. It felt like it took forever to kill her. I finally finished up and got the victory. I closed the app and noticed my phone was on 2% power. But hey, alls well that ends well.
I don't have Ahsoka...only what I listed above. Not going to farm for 3 months for another Jedi at a 1 in 30 cantina drop rate (yes that is what I had for Barriss) and then hope when that 3 months is over there is still a Yoda event and that new Jedi will make the difference.
I could not get the Barris method to work. I mean it worked as planned... Getting Yoda to half Heath or so but I was never able to kill him that way. I focused only on Yoda over and over and over again until I got the right RNG. I finally killed him and had 2 vs 2 against Barris and JKG. I had QGJ and Lumi left.
I gave up on retreating and trying to get the right guards. I just kept fighting him, focusing only on him. I feel like retreating could make you miss out on that magical RNG roll. Even using the Barris method you still need to get good RNG. Unfortunately there is only so much advice that people can give you. I was starting to feel pretty hopeless too but then suddenly I got him.
He does go berzerk when you get him down to 1/4 Heath or so. You need to get your heals down perfect. It's extremely frustrating!
Voltron, did try mace a few times but whole team is dead in 3 turns without Bariss health bonus. Several folks said GQJ for speed but losing the health made for much shorter fight, meaning dead very fast.
It's a lot of RNG too. Did you already try the Barris trick? Restart till yoda has a Barris by his side, kill the other escort and start hitting barris (don't kill her). She then equalizes and Yoda loses a lot of HP
I'm going to suggest a slight alteration to this as it worked for me. If you can get Barrris and Guardian as Yoda's assistants, take them both down equally to about 75% health until Barris takes her turn. Hopefully she attacks rather than heals. Then hit them both hard to Red health (don't kill either). This way when Barris does her heal, she will reduce Yoda's health even more making it easier to take them out. The closer you can get either of them to 1-5% health before she equalizes the more she hurts Yoda.
The only difference in your team and the team I used to get beat him was I had Ahsoka (pre-change) instead of Mace. They both his very similar so it is very do-able with your team.
Something sounds off here. There was a point yesterday where I could swear Barriss's Leadership ability wasn't applying properly and I Force Closed the app and restarted. I don't know if it was mental or not, but I seemed to do better and get further after.
If you haven't restarted it in a while, who knows, maybe give it a try as maybe there's something screwing with something like CDs and such in GW going on.

Change out qgj to lumi as lead. Also only fight yoda teams with bariss in it, or a team of yoda, plo, eeth. When fighting a bariss team, slam her down to a sliver, then start using only basic attacks on yoda. After you have him down under yellow, kill her off so she cant equalize him
Focus down yoda...do no specials, only regular attack. Stagger heals. I beat it on my 2nd or 3rd try with the same exact team. Lumi should heal first as the heal over time will help. By the time I beat yoda I had 3 toons left. QGJ and Mace got killed but the other 3 finished off yoda and then killed JC and whoever else...pk, ek, or igd, I forget.

I've never seen a Barriss/Mace combo. Only have had GQJ/Barriss and JG/Barriss.
If i could choose team i would go Bariss Lumi JC QGJ and Ahsoka (Ayala).
