There were many questions yesterday, how to beat the beast Mace, so I decided to make a video. Using a weak squad (starting with Chewbacca 4*, lvl54, low gear, level 3 skill). Enjoy

Yes. Entirely possible to beat....with a crap ton of luck. I have a similar squad and can beat it about 1 in 10 tries with the right rolls and luck. But, I wouldn't consider this viable. Most people don't have the time to try 10+ times to win this. Particularly since it gives absolutely nothing worthwhile. Total crap gear rewards.

I switched to

Old Ben 4* gear 6 3 abilities level 46
Poe 4* gear 7 4-5 abilities level 60
Chewy 4* gear 7 max abilities level 65
Fives 6* max everything level 72
RG 4* max abilities almost max gear level 72

I use old Ben and Poe to drop turn meter till RG can stun, and chewy to keep mace turn meter low. And fives sows him down enough mace only goes once if I am unlucky

Tim Tebow(L) with RG keeps him from getting a turn.......

It is definately not luck.
Btw another good char is IG-100. turn meter, buffs and many turns

Im telling you guys you need Poe and Han with Teebo lead.

He's quick, a lotta quicker than you, so TM manipulation the only way you'll get around that. You dont need RG.

The only thing that changes with the lv 72 Mace is i can't auto it.
I use: Chewy 5* G7 lv 63
Teebo 7* g8 lv70
St Han 6* g4 (lead) lv 55
Fives 7* G8 lv 72
RG 2* g3
You have to manipulate the turn meter with Chewy and Teebo. Fives' slow is crucial here

I can't beat it yet, here's the team of tanks I have to work with. Any other characters are junk, low power/lvl.

7* Chewy gear 8, lvl 70, abilities all 6-7
4* Poe gear 7, lvl 70, abilities all 3
6* Teebo gear 5, lvl 45, abilities all 3
4* RG gear 4, lvl 49, abilities 3 except pike 6
4* Han gear 4, lvl 48, abilities all 3

Any chance of winning with the right strategy and leader?

Or do I need to wait until I get them powered up?

You have many low ability levels. But I would say it your tanks are enough to finish him.
Okay, the gear level from RG is weak. You need HP to survive hits from Mace, otherwise you are doomed

I did it yesterday (level 72) with

Teebo L
Chewie
Fives
Poe
RG

They are all level 50 ish and 5* or under. In other words, WEAK! Teebo and RG can remove TM and stun. The other three just shoot him. You need a bit of luck on stage 1&2 but it's viable. Takes a few tries too

To remove turn meter (i also count stun as a 100% turn meter reduction)

following tanks are helpful:

RG (stun chance 80% if RG has more than 50% health )
Finn (up to 65% stun chance)
Poe (-25% TM)
Han (several TM manipulation options)
IG-100 (50% chance to remove 30% TM, anti jedi)
Chewbacca (40% chance to remove 50% TM)
Old Ben (65% chance to remove 60% TM)
Teebo (if stealthed remove 75% TM, and able to remove 30% TM if any pos. effect is removed)
