I'm trying. I really am. I just, don't like my fate or rate of success being tied to others. I mean, I understand that if I contribute more I get more. Yet, I'm at odds with the segregation elements. Who says I wouldn't be great at owning a guild, if I fully understood it. Yet who says I'm the boss. No checks and balances are in place.

What if that so called leader isn't great and doesn't wanna give up their thrown.. Do ya gotta start over with a new guild? I mean, I'm getting anxiety over this stuff and it hasn't even started yet.

I can be a passionate, determined person when the mood hits. Yoda challenge was a good example. When it dropped I got 5*. I did everything I could to make that happen because I wanted Yoda. I had set up a time table for the second time around to have him 6*. Yet, the rate I was going I actually worked out a way to best use my resources to be able to try for 7*. I actually did it... Went from barley making five to 7* in a month.

So my point is now I gotta let go of my personal success and determination and now hand it over to others. The reverse is true also. Now I can ride the coat tails of others. It's not my style but I could do it. I'm sure they'd give me the boot. Then I could become a guild hopper. Sell myself, get the rewards and run. Eh...

I mean I still don't get it because I haven't done it. I'm just not feeling it. I almost wanna start my own. Why? I don't know, maybe it's because I have a problem with authority or submitting to other people... I don't like a code of conduct like no bad words or must do this or must have that kinda stuff. People are being picky. When these guilds are full and are getting more offers people are gonna get their feeling hurt.

So I may ride the wave for now, see how it works... See what I like and dislike. Even have a few names in mind if it comes down to it. My only rule would be don't be a Richard-head... It's a fine line between being passionate and being a smart-donkey. If it's anything like being in a band, disagreements and zingers are to be expected.

I guess I'm just a little nervous.

Well, i can't speak for other guilds, but mine has a council of leaders rather than an autocratic leader. The council will elact decisions and decide how to sort issues from there, for example, we will use GMT as it appeals to the most people to be the closest.

There are all sorts of guilds popping up- some specialised some targetting to a demographic, for example, guilds targetting people located in a specific area. Some whale guilds some laid back guilds, some guilds like mine accept anyone and build them from there rather than having an initial requirement.

I think you will find that guilds will not be a neccesity to this game, it will merely benefit you to join one.
