I'd say absurdly slow animations are the bigger issue.

While not necessarily a DC only issue, I do find 5v5 battles lasting longer lately. I would be in favor of a faster speed (6x?) or a a slightly longer timer (6 mins?) Its frustrating to timeout

idk abt y’all, but i use a lot of teams that take time over damage. i don’t do much damage so battles take awhile.

This is an issue, there are many fights in pvp where time outs are the biggest threat. 8x speed would be useful.

It's definitely the animations for Hutt Cartel teams. When they're doing multiple assists and Boushh is throwing out 3 thermals and stops to take a bite of her sandwich in between each, it does take a while. They really do need to speed up that team's animations because all the assists are burning a lot of time.

If it's Lord Vader, I'd check for a 175-200% defense datacron on the team. That much defense makes it take all the longer to clear through them, which is why you unfortunately have to spend the entire 5 minutes battling.

I vaguely recall something since SEE's release where they sped up his ultimate animation, so perhaps they'll do the same for Hutt Cartel. For the LV team, they won't do anything because it's a datacron, so we'll just have to wait about 5 weeks for that set to expire.
