New conquest character announcement?

If I heard correctly, next conquest should be next week? So it should be this week. There should be a lot of news this week with everything else going on.

For the last several months Conquest has been 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Unless the devs change that cycle, it will start on Monday 17 April.

Pretty sure they actually announced the schedule change last fall and had it line up with the 28 day schedule that (most) everything else uses.

Most likely get the announcement today, since the update that adds the character/ship is almost definitely tomorrow.

"Last but not least, Conquest will no longer start on the first Monday of every month. Instead, it will be tied into the 28 day/4 week cycle."
Since then they follow the same schedule
