I am having an issue where I go to use my energy and it says I don't have enough energy or simtickets bit I have 120 energy and 80k plus sim tickets. I have no problem swimming other areas.

Your game is out of sync with the server. You spent the energy but the game didn't update correctly.
Either restart the game or open a bronzium pack and it will resync.
