Will deleting the app lead to loss of all data?

I need to restore my MotoG2 to factory settings, don't ask why.
So when the app gets deleted, do I lose all data and progress, or is it store in EA Servers and remians associated with my account?
In other words, can I uninstall and reinstall the app and continue the game from where I left it, or will I lose all data? I'm on level 36 now, and have spent a bit of time on the game.

If you have the game linked to Google Play or Game Center, it will keep your progress.

This is the key. Otherwise by by account

When you are in game go to settings connect.
Should show like below with the "sign out of Google play" this means it is bound to Google account and you can login to it on any Google device
