Karina the Great Concept

So… I was up a bit last night trynna think of a Speratist GL, and instead made this beast of a unit… Basically, either she’s gonna be a Journey guide late game unit or a conquest unit… either way, she’s an Anti-GL geo lead with an… interesting mechanic (to say the least)

Karina the Great

Dark Side, Support, Leader, Geonosian, Separatist

High queen of the geonosians that can revive allies and manipulate enemies.

(Basic) Queen’s Order - Call a random other geonosian ally to assist, dealing 50% more damage. Grant all allies Health steal up and Defense penetration up for 1 turn. All geonosian allies gain a stack of Queen’s Brood for 2 turns.

Queen’s Brood: gain 2% health steal and offense per stack. At more than 10 stacks, this unit gains 25% defense; Cannot be copied, dispelled, or prevented.

(Special; cooldown 4) Rise, my children - Revive a random geonosian ally with 100% health. That ally gains bonus offense equal to their offense for 1 turn, and their next attack cannot be evaded, countered, and ignores defense stats. Target other enemy is inflicted with Mind Worm until Karina uses Part of the Hive, which cannot be dispelled, resisted, or evaded. All other geonosian allies gain Speed up, Evasion up, and Critical hit immunity for 2 turns, and have their cooldowns reduced by 2. All geonosian allies gain 3 stacks of Queen’s Brood.

While in the Geonosis: Republic Offensive Territory Battle: Target other enemy loses 100% turn meter, and Karina gains bonus max health equal to the amount of that unit while they have Mind Worm. Revive all geonosian allies at 100% max health, and all geonosian allies gain 100% turn meter, offense up, speed up, and tenacity up for 2 turns. Karina has her cooldown’s reduced by 3, and gains 25 speed (stacking; max 150) for the rest of the encounter.

(Special; cooldown: 3) Captive of the Hive - deal special damage to all enemies and inflict Fear on them for 2 turns. If all allies are geonosian, all enemies lose 75% turn meter, and are inflicted with Ability block, buff immunity, daze, and evasion down for 2 turns, which cannot be evaded, and all geonosian allies gain a stack of Queen’s Brood for each effect resisted. If there is an enemy Galactic Legend, dispel all buffs on all enemies. Call all other geonosian allies to assist, dealing 15% more damage for each active geonosian ally.

(Special: cooldown 7) Part of the Hive - This ability can only be used if there is an active enemy that has Mind Worm, and starts on cooldown whenever an enemy gains Mind Worm; this ability is immune to cooldown manipulation.

Instantly defeat any enemy unit with Mind Worm, and then deal true damage to all other enemies equal to that unit’s max health, which cannot be evaded. Inflict Healing immunity on all enemies for 5 turns, which cannot be dispelled or resisted, and remove all buffs on them. All geonosian allies recover 100% max health and protection, are granted 100% turn meter, refresh all cooldowns, and deal 25% more damage for the rest of battle. If the defeated enemy was a Jedi or Clone Trooper, all enemies cannot gain bonus protection for the rest of battle.

(Leader) High Queen of Geonosis- Geonosian Allies can gain Queen’s Brood while Karina is active, and lose all stacks of Queen’s Brood whenever she is defeated. for each geonosian ally with Hive Mind, all geonosian allies gain 20% max health, protection, and tenacity. Geonosian allies start the battle with 100% protection up (cannot be dispelled or expire) have +50% potency, inflict Expose whenever they attack out of turn (limit once per turn), and deal 50% more damage with out of turn attacks.

Whenever a geonosian ally attacks out turn, they recover 5% max health and protection, and they have a 20% chance to call another random other ally to assist (limit once per ally).

While in Territory Battles: Geonosian allies always score critical hits and dispel all buffs on the target enemy whenever they use a special ability. If there is an active ally with Stealth, they deal 5%more damage for each buff on them, and each enemy without buffs. If there is active ally with Taunt, they cannot be defeated if Karina has more than 50% max health, and ignore Taunt effects during their turns.

(Unique) Large Character - (large unit effects… copy and paste Jabba’s unique with this same effect)

(Unique) Queen of the Night - Karina has +15% max health and potency, +10% mastery, and gains 5% evasion per relic amplifier level. If there is an active enemy with Mind Worm, Karina is immune to all debuffs and cannot be critically hit.

Karina is immune to shock, fear, and buff immunity, grants allies a stack of Queen’s Brood whenever she takes a turn and attacks out of turn

While an enemy has Mind Worm, other enemies cannot gain Mind Worm. Allied geonosians can ignore taunt effects to target enemies with Mind Worm.

Mind Worm: -90% offense, potency, and defense penetration, +50% health steal, defense, and evasion. Enemy units cannot attack out of turn against this unit, and this unit cannot attack out of turn or gain bonus turn meter; this unit is tagged as geonosian.

Galactic Legends and Raid bosses: -50% offense and -20% speed. Deal 75% less damage when attacking out of turn, and takes 15% more damage from enemy attacks. While this unit has Mind Worm, they are inflicted with daze for 1 turn at the end of their turn if they did not have daze at the start of their turn, which cannot be resisted or evaded.

While in Territory Battles: Enemy units that have Mind Worm recover 5% health and protection whenever an allied geonosian attacks out of turn, and gain 10% turn meter whenever they are damaged. Until Karina uses Part of the Hive, all other enemy units cannot gain or lose bonus turn meter, attack out of turn, or recover health.

While an enemy has Mind Worm, all other enemies deal 50% less damage.

Yeah seems like a cool kit, also super powerful. I’m sure that eventually they will add a seperatist GL but honestly I would like it to be a character more instrumental in the entire clone wars rather than a character we only see for a few episodes. Also the faction is pretty rounded out right now with all toons except ventress having places on good teams, so they would probably have to add another 4 characters + the GL, I just don’t see them pulling apart Geos GG and trench to make a better team.
