Beware of Web Store purchases - Unfixable and unknown bug will lock you out of the game

Just wanted to make as many players as possible aware of a potentially and MAJOR bug if you use the Web store.

I and several others have been locked out of the game for 6 days now bc we apparently purchased something from the web store that the game can't credit to our account. Sounds like an easy fix, but EA/CG can't seem to do so. This has wrecked this round of Conquest, the recent TB, the raids, and daily tix for me and my guild.     i believe disconnecting from EA Connect will fix it easyly

    Nope. It does not. I can’t attach the screenshot but EA Support stated today “No update on this blocker. Studio is working on a few possible solutions, but they failed or caused new issues.”

    Tomorrow will be a full week since I was able to play SWGOH. :(

    3. wait for information to load
    4. go to settings
    5. click disconnect from EA Connect
    6. logout
    7. try starting the game

    I just wouldn’t buy anything else from the game. Although they are in contact with you it seems they don’t not have the resources nor man power to both develop the game and fix certain bugs such as these in a good manner of time. If you happen to get a big again like this more than likely you will not be able to play for more than a week.

    I appreciate your trying to help, but your suggestion was tried and failed in the first hour I was locked out. Along with the "shut down and restart your device" and "uninstall and reinstall the game". This turned out to be a major bug that affected me and several other players and ultimately required dev intervention and a patch to be pushed out to us. See this thread for details.

    Just to follow up - There's the good, the bad, and the ugly news.

    Good: EA did send compensation to me and the few others affected, for the 7 days we were locked out of the game bc of the web store bug - which caused us to miss the entire first week of Conquest, the end of TB, and one TW.

    Bad: drumroll. We got 2000 crystals.

    Ugly: And... 3 CWC shards.

    Sorry, that was pretty bad.. It's less than $2 USD/day and doesn't really address what we missed out on. And if they were trying to be funny, those 3 CWC shards came across more as a mean-spirited cheap shot. Taron Malicos shards would've been far more appropriate, and I missed out on a lot I wasn't willing to spend every waking moment and tons of crystals/cash to try and get in 6 playable days of Conquest.

    I think they took the right step and I do applaud them for that. But the compensation... ugh. (And I'm sure EA will take it as another sign that players are rude, greedy, unrealistic, and ungrateful for what EA does for us, lol)

    wich shows you again... dont use the webstore because it is coded very poorly
