The synergy is that Canderous gains TM when enemies get damaged. Maul calls tons of assists, so Canderous gains a lot of extra turns.
Also means Maul can be very fast, use his AoE to call assists and boosting Canderous to 100% TM. Canderous can use his special to trigger Maul’s frenzy.

Fast armorer calling the first mass assist and triggers mauls frenzy, as well as loading canderous tm. Maul goes next with his aoe and gets 5 stacks, calls assists. Canderous is next and does his special. Maul frenzy gives him his last frenzy turn and he's at 5 stacks. Canderous go brrr
