-10, probably one of the worst suggestions on the forums to date. No offence.

    LOL.

    'You're an id1ot. ''No offence'''.

Explain why that would make me an "id1ot". I had said no offence to contradict the fact that I was insulting his intelligence. Note how I said it was the worst suggestion?

He's making fun of your spelling. "Offence" is actually spelled "offense."

Or it could probably be the fact that you have read and ranked every suggestion on the forum to determine the best and worst, which would suggest that you use your time poorly. Or if you have not ranked every post, then your "no offence" was intended to conceal the implication that you are an overly opinionated person who thinks others should care about their kneejerk reactions to other people's ideas.

Also... you probably don't see the irony in your above quoted post.

Living in Canada, we spell offence as it is, research.
    And... what?
To answer your concern, my time is well spent here, I get paid for the comments that I contribute to the forums, the more posts the better.

Yeah, so I should research the British spellings?Yet your initial confusion on spelling doesn't seem to indicate that you are real informed on how other English dialects spell. So you're overly opinionated and hypocritical...?

I am completely aware of British and American standardized ways of spelling things, in fact, back when I was in my final year of highschool, I wrote a cumulative essay about this orthography.
I made the mistake of assuming other people knew about the different standards, that is what caused my confusion.

I was translating what u had written:

'-10, probably one of the worst suggestions on the forums to date. No offence.'

I just find it funny when people say something obviously harsh and follow it up with 'No offence :innocent: '

True, but it would require reworking the ranking system. Imagine being rank 2 but rank 1 only logs in while you are at work or asleep? I think it falls under the category of "too much programming."

I would have to disagree. Im a FTP and I see my credit keep increasing everyday(14 mil now).

Dude I've been farming characters since November, I'm missing like 20 toons and all of mine are above lvl 50. I still have 2 1/2 teams that are lvl 70, some 72 cuz that's my cap atm. I beat gw every day and I've only spent 30$ since November. Not trying to be a **** but if you're having credit issues you're just bad or made really bad decisions early on.

That idea would kill interest as these games are based on "what to get geared stared and leveled next. So it would kill about 40% of the reason to play. Get everything all at once and you will be bored. However, you could make droids cost the same amount as using them instead of getting them for free.

All of these people calling each other intellectual insults while misspelling "offense" is making my eye twitch....

On topic though I've never had issues with money. I have about 10 mill right now and don't see why people have issues. Earn the money, don't spend it leveling up every single character you own (I have 6 characters maxed, about another 6 around 60, and another 5 around 40-50 like Chewie, Aksoka, Talia, JC who I used to use then brilliantly stopped leveling up and wasting time and resources on when I started using better characters in their place.)

    It's really not that hard.

Yea, so spelling of words as well as Annunciation of, varies from country to country. To make fun of or point out something like that makes you look extremely small minded and American. Ignorance doesn't run America, America runs ignorance. All ads paid for by an American truist.

Credits are not a problem as long as you know basic financial budgeting techniques. I can guarentee many of the people who say they are in a credit dilemma have at least 20 characters at level 55+.

So, we should just not use characters? I thought the point of this game was to collect AND battle characters. That's what I'm trying to do.

it's hard to say, but for new players who didn't have the chance to sit around saving up at the level caps of 50, 60, or 70 for weeks/months, the credit dilemma is probably v real. Maybe not for competing in arena, but for GW it could be a real problem.

I'm almost level 59 with a steady 4.5 mil to level...

it's actually good suggestions from the op. But you do realize the company need to make money. Right now we are in bottleneck situation where we are not easily level up and gearing our toons. So it is a good time to save credits

I don't have a backlog of unstarred, or unlocked characters.

I'm going to assume that's because you're either f2p or a light spender. I'm a whale; I have a huge backlog of under-starred and leveled toons. These games are always about bottlenecking players in order to incentivize spending. However, I can't recall a single freemium game that creates a bottleneck in every single form of currency in the game.

    - Regular energy
    - Cantina energy
    - Crystals (for node and shipment refreshes)
    - Cantina orbs
    - Shards
    - Mk3 ability mats
    - Credits

There are all examples of a form of currency where spending results in alleviating a bottleneck. My question is why?

Frankly it is your biggest spenders that are hardest hit by the credit bottleneck. The problem is only getting worse as income increases linearly while the cost of leveling increases exponentially.

What I'm seeing is a fundamental divide in the way players enjoy this game. This is my interpretation:

One group is the "king of the hill" group. This group focuses on specific toons to funnel their resources into in order to dominate arena rankings. They may have more credits because they generate more through arena rank and spend less on auxiliary characters: typically having about 6-10 max level characters. They contribute often in forums due to a desire to only spend resources on competitive characters, which they discover through collaboration rather than trial and error.

The next group is the "tinkerers." This group focuses in toon acquisition. Their goal is to unlock characters and experiment with teams. This is the group that is more credit starved, due to a constant use of credits in leveling their next team. They may also receive fewer resources from arena, due to less focused gear acquisitions. This group finds teams through trial and error.

I feel these two groups disagree with how to have fun in this game, and this leads to the divide we see on the subjects of credits. King of the hill people don't get why tinkerers are leveling non-arena characters, and tinkerers don't get why king of the hill players are resistant to the idea of spending credits to experiment with team builds.

They are both legitimate ways of obtaining toons. Are you saying grinding them f2p is the only legitimate one? Let's try not to make this into a f2p vs p2w discussion. That had nothing to do with my post. In case you missed it, it's about seeing the other side of the coin and considering a point of view you may not have considered before.

In reality this has nothing to do with the nonsense you posted and everything to do with CG hoping to capitalize on spenders by having them purchase their garbage credit packs.

There are all examples of a form of currency where spending results in alleviating a bottleneck. My question is why?

Frankly it is your biggest spenders that are hardest hit by the credit bottleneck. The problem is only getting worse as income increases linearly while the cost of leveling increases exponentially.

Spenders can't really complain for rushing through and not collecting what you normally would imo.

    I miss everything

Since you're just trolling, I figured I'd help ya along by fixing your post.
