New 2x drop event idea just for mods(monetization)

The problem:
I have 448 mods with secondary speed that I still have to slice from green too yellow.
I don't have slicing material because a lot of material goes to waste because of non speed slices.
I need 448 x 25=11200 mk1 fusion disk
I need 448 x 35=15680 mk1 fusion coil
There is no point in farming new mods because I reach mod cap.
When I eventually sliced all 448 mods I can farm 10 mods with speed secondary and slice those 10 mods.

Suggestion:
Please, Please, pretty Please create a new 2x event just for mod battle and mod challenges.
This "new" event runs every second week of every month.
This event last minimum 2-4 days.

I don't see a problem because mod energy are not linked too guild or raid tokens.
Even if you hoard mod energy, mod energy have 1000 cap.
Mod energy don't regenerate pass 144 so it is a waste not spending those 144 energy every day plus bonus.

P.S.
If CG are superstitious, year 2024=8 in numerology.
8 is the number of money and CG must jump on this opportunity too cash in.
I am convinced a lot of players will spend crystals and real money for this "new" event

    This is a QoL update.
    mk1 fusion disk is available on mod battle 9A
    mk1 fusion coil is available on mod battle 9B
    Put mk1 fusion disk and mk1 fusion coil on the same node(9B)
    Put mk1 bonding pin and mk1 power flow control chip on the same node(9A)
    This won't generate any money it will just make my experience farming slicing materials that much simpler.
    Kill 2 birds with one stone.

    Make slicing material accelerated.
    Give double the amount of slicing material you receive from GAC and events.
    This won't generate any money it will just make my experience farming slicing materials that much simpler and faster.

    Only x% chance of slicing/rolling speed on stats.
    If it where 100% all my speed mods would have speed secondaries and I don't have too sell non speed mods.
    Sliced 41 mods in the mean time and only 4 rolled speed, 15, 15, 16 and 22
    I don't have 6 dot slicing material so they have too stay gold for now.

    I do 3 mod refreshes per day and average 55-60 mats per day.
    I am focusing on speed and speed secondary.
    I can upgrade 1 mod from green too yellow every second day.
    Mat acceleration is long time overdue.
    2x drop mod battle event would be nice.
