New arena team is underperforming, help?

Ever since I've took suggestions on a new, stronger arena team I don't feel like anyone syngergises. Currently im running:

5* Dooku (L)
7* QGJ
5* Leia (sometimes switch with phasma)
5* Yoda
5* Geo soldier

Previously I was running
7* QGJ (L)
6* Kylo Ren
6* Luminara
4* Rey
7* Phasma

I felt with this team I could one shot toons really easily so it would put me at a straight advantage. With the new team i just don't feel like I'm doing enough damage to get rid of a main DPS before a heal is popped by the enemy. Should I keep the old team or is the new team just not high enough with stars yet?

I run a similar team to your current one and they have no problem one or two shotting characters from the start. The problem lies in your star levels.

You need more synergy, that array of toons just doesn't really have it

This may be a better combination for you. Yoda has great AOE and with the QG speed boost he would be extremely fast. Also victory March with Phasma will give you an extra turn and his fussilade will slow the other team down.

Agreed on Victory March but I've found Fussilade to be close to useless

Any yodi I see at 5 stars is mincemeat.
I would love to get Leia I'm ftp but her under 6 stars can't be of much help. I like your previously run team better I would try:
QGJ Lead
Lumi
Rey
Geo
Phasma or Ren
Until you gear and star up other toons that's all I would recommended, Dooku at 5 stars isn't that good in arena either.

I have a few but they're not really levelled. 4* FOTP, 5* Sid but I'm not fond of him, 4* RP, 4* star Luke - nothing really worthwhile tbh
