After a while, you get a big pile of the same gear. Need to make it random, so we can get some useful items.

Yup, agreed... Especially since other purple gear in mission has like a 5% chance only to drop and many times now I burn through 120+ energy with no drops or just 1. It pretty ridiculous. Do the Devs even pay attention to comments or are developers now like minimum wage fast food workers who don't care about proper product development and just wirk their set 40, clock watching and leave 5-10 before the last hour is up. That's pretty much what it feels like on the recieving end here.
