Why aren't accounts that have been AFK for over say 3 months kicked out of the system. Several reasons here:

1. Allow other players to achieve goals for SA/GA/Etc.
2. Flush out the non-players
3. Purge the leaderboards of dead weight
4. Quitters suck, play or die.
5. Cause I said so Frakkers.....

How would AFK players change your playing experience? They don't sign up for any events so you won't play against them. They drop skillrating over time because of not signing in so they will not prevent you from being higher up in the leaderboard. If there is an afk player in your guild you should ask the leaders to kick them out and the problem is solved.
