Rey/Holdo Level 9 Datacron

Last TW battle, took a 485 million Guild w/multiple 12 million + players SEVEN - 7 - battles to take down a stupid Rey squad. YEARS of grinding and ONE - ONE - ONE Datacron literally makes a GAC win virtually impossible UNLESS one holds back GL Leia. So guess the lesson is, check Datacrons first and guess if they're going to deploy on defense. But that is not always the best guess...Forced to make a bad decision never good.

You have any success w/the below?

Amilyn Holdo has +100% Max Health and Max Protection. At the start of encounter, all Resistance allies and Ben Solo gain Foresight for 1 turn. Whenever Amilyn Holdo loses Taunt, all other Resistance allies and Ben Solo gain Foresight for 1 turn. Whenever a Resistance ally or Ben Solo loses Foresight, she gains 100% bonus Protection (stacking) for 1 turn. While she has Taunt, all other Resistance allies and Ben Solo have +100% Critical Avoidance and Defense Penetration and +100 Speed.

If you're 485m losing to a guild half of your GP, than it's not shocking you guys don't know how to counter this. It's a very common GA defense. So your 12m+ accounts should know the counters and shared it with the class.

And yes, you should be checking opps DC. It's not an offensive DC by any means, so if you see it. Assume it is going on D.

Any team that gets preloaded without losing any units is going to become an issue, especially a Rey team like that. But there’s plenty of solutions. GL Leia, Bane, SLKR… could probably even do some Sith comp with Nihilus, Sith Empire Trooper, and Darth Revan.

Ah, thought of some of the options you mentioned: don't yet have Bane; used GL Leia but that's an 'expensive' toon to use on Rey. SLKR always dicey; Traya/DN/Talon, Sith Empire no go. The # of revives by Ben Solo is ridiculous.

GL Leia might be expensive on a normal Rey team but not on a Rey team with the datacron imo. The value of a team isn't fixed and changes for example with datacrons.

Could also set things up for a two-shot somehow. JMK, CAT, DR, SET, Thrawn or something. Sith Empire Trooper’s AoE will bypass protection, disabling the 100% Health Immunity DC, then wait for ID Immunity to expire and oneshot Holdo. That makes a cleanup much simpler with SLKR. (Probably a smarter way of doing it than JMK-lead-SithEmpire, but same idea.)

Shouldn’t he only revive in GAC?

Either way, one trick you can also do to set up a cleanup is to kill Ben (or whoever you don’t want revived) and let the battle time out before he revives. You’ll lose, but the target will still be defeated and won’t be back the next battle.

JML with JKCK and his datacron usually works against Holdocron too, but I mainly use Leia against them in GAC.

I have beaten the Rey/Holdo DC combo with my Jabba squad plenty of times.
