A simple test on the update

So, I have a team of all 7*, Gear 8, Lv. 73: Luminara, Rey, Sidious, Ahsoka and Asajj Ventress.
Before the update, with such a team, I used to pass the Bounty Hunter Challenge Tier V in auto. Now it's impossible, they already struggle against the battle droids at the second encounter, then Cad Bane kills 2-3 of them per attack.
So I ask: how is this healthy? I'm not even addressing Arena or GW here. This is just a simple challenge for 93k credits. Should it be that hard? Is it more fun this way? And is Darth freaking Sidious getting annihilated by a battle droid true to the spirit of Star Wars?
