Qui-gon jinn debuffing ewok scouts dodge ability

I was playing my ewoks in the arena today and qui-gon used his humbling blow on my ewok scout. I had no buffs on him, yet qui-gon still managed to give his whole team offense up. My only guess is that he's debuffing the dodge ability ewok scout gets from having ewok allies. I also noticed that yoda can steal that ability with his aoe. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but this shouldn't be happening, right? It's not a buff at all, but a built in ability.
