Vader isnt possible yet as a 7* other than a glitch that was exploited and those Vaders were nerfed.

Its possible to obtain a 7* Vader through shard shop now. I also remember reading that they reversed the nerf they placed on Vader, so he should be back to his orginal intended stats.

I think they mean that it is a stretch for anyone to have Vader maxed out yet, even with the shard shop. In a farfetched scenerio, if you were to get 1 vader shard a week from GW, plus 8 vader shards from the shard shop a week, it would take you about 20 weeks.

Snowtrooper has only been farmable for a week, so give it some time.

Hate to tell you guys this but I got the following:

All 8 or Higher gear:
Darth Vader *5
Grand Moff *6
SnowTropper *7
MagmaTropper *7
Royal Guard *7

I got about a 20 percent win rate in the top 30. Grand Moff dies before he can attack even with protection and RG Taunt. I need to switch back to my typical Dooku, glass cannon, speed team to get back into the top 15

You can imagine how much it takes to get characters to *7 and higher than 8 gear. I was hoping with new protection Grand would not get one shot, but that is not the case.

@Helekil How is Magmabuddy? I got him to 6* but switched to another character rather than finishing the 7* as I couldn't figure out how to fit him in a squad and his damage seems really low. Is he even any good in a dedicated Empire squad over just running GS or some other standard meta character?

Maybe Empire will be more viable when Palpatine finally releases.
