What is a node and how does it relate to this game? Please forgive me for my ignorance on the subject.

A node is a mission. Either in Cantina, Light Side or Dark Side. Take for example mission 3-B Dark Side, that is a node.

The definition of the word node is as follows: "a point in a network or diagram at which lines or pathways intersect or branch."

Galactic War also has nodes. Let's say they are the different stages of battles. Every node gives you a reward. There are 12 nodes in GW.
