Strength challenge: Toon that delivers killing shot to droid not getting buff?

This has been happening since update. First I thought it was visual but Rey, everytime she killed the droid today (always it's her delivering final blow in my line up) just isn't getting the buff when the rest of the team is.

This happening to others?

I don't remember that being the case.

At all.

Why wouldn't the droid killer get the buff?

This was asked several times in November but we never received an answer from Devs. But really not a big deal. This challenge is easiest of all challenges.
