Vader in early game

Hi all,
I'm new with this game. Been playing for 4 days. I just want to know, is that possible to get Darth Vader in early game? I see someone in my server (no 1 spot) with Darth Vader as a lead when he/she is only in level 38. That's all. Thanks so much!

Vader is offered from achievements and the shard shop, the easiest achievements are collecting light and dark side characters. Shards for the shard shop can only be obtained after you have a 7 star character, then only the shards for 7 star characters can be converted into shard shop currency. Basically that guy has a ton of characters and possibly a few 7 star characters.

For F2P (Free to Play), you should get Vader by the time you reach level 60+...

If your P2P (Pay to play), it could possibly be much earlier.

Thanks guys for the answers. So it is possible to get him after all. I think that guy is p2p. At that level he already have Maul 5*, asajj 4*, JC 4*, Kylo 4* and phasma 4* (at least that's what he used in arena). And here I'm still using chewie as my leader, lol.
