I actually like the new pace of GW and think it makes it a little easier. Before the update you had to be so stingy with the heal abilities. Often times when you would use Lumi's heal in the very first round it wouldn't be cooled down for the next match. In general you could not use heals late in the match if you wanted them ready for the next onslaught.

Now you can easily use Lumi's heal around the middle of the match and two/three JC heals along the way and still have everything refreshed by the next match. Takes the edge off a little bit.
