Existing Shards & Force Awakens Ultimate Bundle?

Let's say you have 20 Kylo Ren shards. What happens to those shards after you buy the bundle and activate Kylo Ren?

Do you end up with 4 star and 0 shard Kylo? Or do you end up with a 4 star 20 shard Kylo?

Should be the standard 4* and you keep your 20 toward your next star. At least that's how it's worked before when I've pulled someone out of a pack.
