I can vouch for this. When I joined the Discord server a few weeks ago it opened up a new outlet of the game to me. Forums/Reddit/Discord is the recipe for success.

Furthermore, why would any guild leader go through your little cult to use discord when making your own server is literally as easy as a few mouse clicks and costs nothing to do so.

tldr: the original discord is still alive and kickin. guild leaders make your own discord/line/whatsapp/etc. You don't need to go through Skunks discord.
