Arena Opponent with Only 1 Character

Yesterday I encountered a bug in arena. I was presented with the following options of opponents:



Being the good bug tester that I am, I of course selected the opening with only 1 character. The fight started exactly as shown, with only one enemy character - a level 1 Han Solo.



I won in one hit from Qui Gon. I was correctly promoted to new level and offered an ally request.





So was this a bug? Or was this user somehow cheating?

Not likely a bug. He very well could have fought his last arena battle with one character. I have no idea why, but the game would let him.

I keep getting friend requests from these guys. All the time in fact. I'll get a request from a max level toon but with only 1 star and no gear. I can't for the life of me figure out why but I'm sure someone is exploiting something somewhere with this. Unless it is an automatic service that is leveling accounts just to sell them off later.
