Inflicting Ablility Block on Obi-Wan

Obi-Wan appears to cleanse himself of Ability Block before actually executing his turn, thus he is able to cast his special when he should not be able to. This has occurred when both Boba Fett and IG-88 inflict ability block on Obi-Wan (only 1 turn Ability Block). Not sure if this is the case for 2+ Turns of ability block.
