Rewards for completing Galactic War - Eh?
The infernal protection bar: What I have a problem with is that if the protection bar was introduced to stymie the burst DPS issue, thereby increasing the difficulty of the game, then why are the rewards, especially for the Galactic War, still the same prior to the introduction of the protection bar?
You are asking the player base to do more "work" because of the protection bar (through more time played, more difficulty and challenge, etc.) yet still award the player with the same exact rewards as what was awarded previously. How is that engaging the player base? What kind of message does that send? "Hey, we want you to play our game, but we're gonna make it a lot harder for you to win but still give you the same rewards as before".
That just does not fly in my book. I feel that the protection bar is a divisive game mechanic that punishes the player base, especially when the reward system is factored in. Do more work, get same rewards..? How has this not been addressed yet?
