Vanishing Items?

So this morning I had somewhere between 40 and 50...MK 5 A/KT Stun Gun Prototypes...They have just completely vanished. I'm back down to 3...
It's a mat used to make the 40str/600health/5% tenacity item.
Anyone know what caused it or seen it before? Because honestly if it happens again ill probly cry myself to sleep like a limp puppy that's just been kicked 14 times.
It was at least 1500-2000 energy worth of mats just poof into thin air...unless something has patched that i completely missed within the last 24 hours.
