Keycard battles

One bug and one issue regarding keycard battles.
Firstly the issue: Why do keycards expire? Not the event, I know that expires. But the key cards disappear. After a week of collecting one keycard every day I should have seven keycards, but it resets every day. I'd like to collect them in the hopes that it changes one day and I can use them all up at once.

Then click the Keycard in the top right (either one). Then click 'get more'. It will bring up this window.
Click away (anywhere in the background) and this will happen.
As you can see its like you have taken a few steps back in the Cantina as you have a zoomed out view.
