If you're trying to place as high as possible before prizes are shipped out, the 11th place slot holds the most strategic value.

Once inside of the top 10, you're only allowed to move up by a maximum of 3 ranks per battle, but you can snipe 2nd place from 11th.

Anyone else have any secrets they'd like to share?

Haven't thought bout it, but I will check it later today. IMO rng is big factor here.
