lost character shards for the second time

I had 59 shards for darth vader and all of a sudden i have 52 i was so close just waiting to get the achievment for opening 200 arena shipments and that was basically it. Ive been using the shard shop to get his shards everytime i see him. The worst thing is that i thought it happened before but i overlooked it thinking i mustve been mistaken is there anyway i can get these shards back. I wouldnt care if it wasnt vader cause hes an absolute disaster to get shards for.
