Raid Issues/Recommendations

So the new Raids feature has been kind of neat but there are a few things that I believe need to be addressed.

First: Something has to change in the Raid rewards. We did several runs of Tier 5 Raids and all we get is useless purple gear that won't help us compete with the individuals who were able to pre-craft their gear before all the updates. Either have it so that we can choose our gear after a Raid is completed (like how we choose our gear to farm anyways) or at least guarantee one of those items that is needed to break into gear 9 and 10. At this rate it will take a very long time and pre-crafters have already had an advantage for quite some time.

Second: The timer for when characters reset in a Raid needs to be changed. After my whole guild gets a chance at the first five attempts at a Raid we usually only have 25% of the Raid left to complete. We cannot complete it until characters reset the next day... Problem is you have the timer so it does not reset until 6AM CST!! For Pacific Time that is 4AM in the morning!!

Problem we are having is that we have members who are in the Top 10 before characters reset. Then there are people who get on the second characters reset and they totally take over the leaderboard and snipe top positions because they got 10 attempts in while everyone else gets 5 (because most people are sleeping at 4AM-6AM and won't put in additional attempts at this time?). Then by the time everyone else wakes up at normal times the Raid is over and we are left with even worse prizes. The timer should be resetting at a normal time like 12PM CST or something like that. I have heard the argument from some to gain cooperation with the guild. But let's be honest, we are playing with individuals all around the country that we do not really know and we also face the Prisoner's Dilemma when it comes to gaining cooperation.

This type of sniping 4AM in the morning behavior does not create good vibes in what is suppose to be a team spirited event and the gear situation is an issue that is harming the community at large.

Move on to Tier 6 raid. Bottom level rewards are as good as top level tier 5. If 1.2 days is enough you should be able to two refresh tier 6.

We attempted doing Tier 6 took us several days and we were barely 25% done. So at that rate it would take even longer to get anything. But even in the Top 10 the purple gear has not been helpful in Tier 5.
