Did not receive purchase in timely manner leads to horrible customer support

I just want to warn people of EA's business. I have put a couple thousand dollars into this game. But, no more. I recently activated Rey. It came up with an option to do a one time upgrade to take her to level 43 and gear 6 for $15.99. I went ahead and purchased it. Immediately the game came up with a "Client Must Restart" screen. Restarted. Nothing. Rey Level 1. Nothing in mail, etc. I checked my Visa transactions, nothing. I checked my iTunes transactions, nothing. I assumed the client restart just caused a glitch and the purchase failed. Not end of the world. I went ahead and leveled her myself. Two hours later, I get a mail saying I received my Rey upgrade. This did no good because I had already leveled her to Gear 7, Level 60+.

Anytime, I have purchased crystals, gold, or any other purchase within the game it comes up immediately. I have contacted EA. And just get run around after run around. They will not refund me. They asked me 30 questions then come back and say they aren't authorized to give a refund for an iTunes purchase? It's their product. It's not about the $16. It's the principle. I can post screenshot after screenshot of how ridiculous my conversation was with these people. If you don't care about your customers, why should I continue to support them with more money?

Be warned. EA will not back you up on a bad purchase.
